Hi Gents,

Sorry about the disappearing act. I had travel in January to the Asia pac (yakota, Okinawa, Guam) and was gone for three weeks. I have been running at full speed at work ever since.

Here's the latest:

1) I bought the vaccum pot and pump
2) bought new mold making material (softer to hopefully last longer and not rip upon multiple casting.
3) I purchased a Marmit storm trooper kit so I can get better speaker mic tips. Mine had bubbles in some of them, so the molds were imperfect, like the original speaker mics.

4)*** i'd like to start shipping casts this weekend (I have a expo this week and a customer appreciation party, in addition to having to be on base for functions). i'm sorry, i've just been incredibly busy.

5) If anyone is unhappy with the speaker mics i will cast and send more at no charge (obviously)

I will head down to the shop this weekend and set up my vacuum pump and make new speaker mic tip molds and casts.

Again, my apologies for the delayed update....i've been ridichulously busy.

Glad to hear all is well and just work stuff. Over the years it seems when one of our custom leaders falls off the board for a while.......they gone!....
I think I did almost the same tour a few years back but swap out misawa for Guam.

Great to hear from you Will. As others said and i think I speak for everyone. We are just glad you are OK health wise. Not a problem waiting and fully understand how busy life can be. Great to hear though that the project is still on and moving forward but in your own time as and when.

Good to hear from you, I fully understand where your coming from , work is such an inconvenience :lol
Just remember to take time out to rest up, I think we'd all rather wait a little longer rather than you burning yourself out and making yourself ill.
