I decided to revisit my Henry Hill again I was thinking I would use my new method of painting on resin but was too lazy to do the whole thing so its the same as a couple years ago but I repainted the eyes, eyebrows, hairline and added a lot of detail.

Looks great!

It’s not really fair. Yours keeps getting better and mine is still sitting here waiting to be painted.

Incredible work, Ray.(y) (emojis on this site need some help)

Also just went back to your Agent Cooper pics, that pie looks so delicious!:coffee:

Absolutely fantastic custom!

But I’ve got to say, the work on the eyes is stellar (y). Not just the realism, but the way they add to the whole facial expression - it’s impossible to not see ray liotta!

You guys are really kind, I appreciate the feedback very much!

I also put together Jimmy - I am working on something for Pesci but that will be some ways off. I hope I can get it to look as sharp as these two because finally I think these two are up to snuff after all of these years of being mediocre and despite the fact that the heads are both a few years old now - there is not enough Goodfellas figures and it's a damn shame. The bond suit is the one I art directed I think it;'s yunsil's best. I am going for the Batts murder scene and got a custom tie made. It's likely a placeholder as it still has some inaccuracies and it's the best Bond suit albeit from a scene where there is not really a good unshaven portrait to pair it with, but I have enough Bonds and not enough Jimmys so we will see because this figure really cannot hold it's own without top notch tailoring.

That’s a super cool sculpt!

I think he had that same expression on his face in another scene, too. Do you remember the scene where they were celebrating the lufthansa heist in the bar and he was arguing with the guy that bought the new Cadillac? It was that “don’t be smart with me, or else” look ;)

Looking forward to more.

Sick man! Nice use of that sculpt.

haha yeah its classic Deniro. I really always loved how Inigo captured this expression as it gets the essence of the character. A few pages back I have the other neutral; expression of this sculpt on my Casino figure, still a great sculpt, which may be more "gent-like" but he was pretty damn calm in that movie too even when Sharon Stone was going nuts on him or Pesci was sleeping with his wife lol. I figured that the grumpy look would work for a look when he's meant to be stoping a guy to death lol.

This is the first Joker I ever attempted to do. It was fun but hard. I don't want to do it many more times. I will do another one for my bank robber joker and that's it. Of all the billion joker heads on the market this is the sleeper hit, I think that once these images makes the rounds along with a couple others I have see using this sculpt, people will catch on and realize its the best thing you can get right now that won't cost you 10 grand, and close enough that those who did pay 10 grand and don't truly have the means and don't care about one offs or exclusivity for principals sake, and are just after "the best Joker", will feel a bit sheepish and be looking to part with it when they realize they could make about 9.3 grand back if they put one of these in the hands of the right painter/hairer. Could be just my subjective opinion on that though. There are parts of his though that still reign superior, but this is close. In fact it does need a bit of mods. I filled in and made more subtle the scars at the sides of his cheeks and his lip/chin it helped an awful lot.

other than a good likeness to Heath, what this sculpt also has going for it is that it's textured, detailed, has eyebrows and other elements that other of the "top" joker sculpts out there seem to want to omit, which just has left me absolutely baffled for years in this day and age of hyper details. as detailed as you make the paint makeup you can't make up for a smooth/bland base sculpt.

This is the first joker though that I've had I think I'm happy with. Now just to get Finwee's replacement coat and we will be really talking!

Oh yeah, this is special!

I come in here, I get my mind blown!!!

The Henry Hill, Jimmy... and then that Joker. I will be relishing over your photos for the next hour or so.

Jealous, with respect.

One thing -- would love a head-to-toe shot of your Joker.

Thank you sooooo much brother! means a lot

Talk about an embarrassment of riches . . . ;)

I've always thought that ace sculpt had potential - it looked to be much more accurate than either the hot toys or the older iminime, but I never saw it painted like it could be. I love what you did with the hairline, as well. Once again, you've produced another masterfully crafted figure.

Best Keaton batman I've ever seen. Period.

Ray, you're the man. . . .

Thanks Wayne!
I have nothing but Batman stuff coming up over the next little bit and being on a kick I looked at the returns Wayne head which I always hated wondering if a repaint could ace it. Buffy sculpted it, the damn best sculptor in the game, the only reason why I can tell it went wrong was bad art direction from hot toys or issues from feedback from WB or Keaton himself.

Then I found this in my garbage / junk bin and was like. Wait this is WAY better. I’ll paint this instead.!
