Fellas, let's talk (rooted) hair styling

Anybody have any tips for styling rooted hair? Just got a Ripley head but the hair is a mess. I have no clue as to where to start or what tools to use. I am so tempted to get a mini curling iron, but I am not sure if that is what I need. Help!

Try soaking it first, then a little hair product. Experiment around with it. It also depends on the material used; synthetic versus organic.

I'm going to try some heated up (with boiling water) needlenose pliers as well as tweezers. Will post results if they are successful
