Very lifelike. Are do working these directly on a semi-translucent resin of the headsculpt, or do You first lay down a flesh coloured basecoat?

Very lifelike. Are do working these directly on a semi-translucent resin of the headsculpt, or do You first lay down a flesh coloured basecoat?

The original resin color is exactly like top separate part of the head where the rooted hair is supposed to go.

Thanks, but I think I'm gonna re-do the whole thing again. I'm not satisfied with some of the colors just yet.

I use airbrush. There's about 4 or 5 layers of paint on top of each other as I'm trying to explore different type of colors, and what works and what doesn't. I got pretty tired in the end that I rushed a bit without getting the right color for the eyes as I've been spending the whole day painting the head. anic:

Nah I'm serious! I know you're a TDK nut like me and you can see that in the paint up. You haven't just painted him white: you've painted him with Ledgers actual white make up scheme.

I remembered messaging him on fb and emailing him long time ago regarding painting commission. But I didn't get a response. I guess he must have a lot of bigger works to even respond to my quiery :lol
