Re: Lopie's Customs "Bossk Repaint"

what did you use to strip the paint down with. I would not mind to try it my self once you find out what the correct color of green to use.

Re: Lopie's Customs "Bossk Repaint"

Hi! I agree with kl241. Actually new version figure has a mix of colours between yellow and green. I would apply a soft layer of green colour on the original yellow.

Re: Lopie's Customs "Bossk Repaint"

Lopi, I think your repainted is a bit too green.

SS's V2 looks like it has v1's ochre as a base with a khaki/muddy-green washed over it. IMHO I would try to get back a bit of the original ochre in the skin tone.

Re: Lopie's Customs "Bossk Repaint"

Been doing some building myself, its a bit slow going as of late waiting for LEDs to come in. I bought to much wood so I'm building two of these; I casted a few bits and did some weathering and its coming along nicely I think.

Re: Lopie's Customs "1/6 Han in Carbonite"

Thanks Chris. Here is an update I casted the panel in a clear resin, I'll put the light behind the panel and it will light up the buttons.

I'm still waiting on light but this is just a test, I wanted to see what it looks like.

looks fantastic! what type of material did you use for the metal crates in the ground and ceiling? Again fantastic work!

Thanks,
The lower grill was made from stirring sticks cut and glued together, and the top grill is from my wife's espresso machine. I cast them all so I could have doubles.

Nicely done, nicely done!!! Looks great!

Re: Lopie's Customs "1/6 Han in Carbonite"

Wow! gluing sticks together! You did a fantastic job! I can't wait to see it finished with the Han Carbonite in it. I have been planning on making something similar and you really set the bar high!

Re: Lopie's Customs "1/6 Han in Carbonite"

Thanks for the positive feedback. LEDs came in today, so I started getting those in place. I still have a lot to do, but its getting close to being done.
