Re: Serang's 'Dr.Langdon.

Figure and acc looks well made, however it just doesnt look like Tom hanks IMO. It's weird but it sort of have that Tom cruise vibe, especially the nose and eyes area

Re: Serang's 'Dr.Langdon.

Sadly most of Serangs sculpts all look the same. At least he's consistant! :lol

Personally, I'm a big fan of Serang's style. Always look forward to what he does next. Great choice. man!

Re: Serang's 'Dr.Langdon.

Sculpt is far too stylized for my taste.

I hear what Buttmunch says but his Hendrix and Churchill both had incredible likenesses while still retaining his style. So there's room for both.

I definately see Tom Hanks and I didn't even know what character is was based on, I could just tell it was Hanks and had to Google the name to figure out it was Da Vinci Code. Never cared to see a flavor of the week oprah book club movie, is it really that good/worth a watch?

No, not really.

Re: Serang's 'Dr.Langdon.

I never felt the need to watch those movies either. The books were all the rage for awhile, but supposedly the films didn't live up to the source material.

i agree with the sculpt. when i first saw it i thought it was his spartacus with longer lighter hair and no beard. I think its the eyes.

Books are definitely good reads. I wasn't very into the newest one "The Lost Symbol" though. And it is true the movies just didn't do them justice.
