Latest paintwork! Great sculpt by Jaxon!

What colours did you use for that hair Rogster? I always end up having to mix colours for blonde or sandy hair. I recently painted the hair on a John Nada sculpt and it was quite tricky.

I took a burnt umber and that served as the base color then I took the burnt umber and mixed it with a soft yellow color and added some “highlights” to the hair. It worked out well.

A cool little tip I picked up is with rubbing alcohol. You can use it to strip away all the paint but it also works great if you have put on too much paint and want to smooth it out just a bit without starting from scratch on a sculpt you are in the process of painting. Just a little bit on a cotton bud and it works a treat. You may have have to paint a bit more on afterwards but it should help smooth down the paint somewhat.
