This is the first Joker I ever attempted to do. It was fun but hard. I don't want to do it many more times. I will do another one for my bank robber joker and that's it. Of all the billion joker heads on the market this is the sleeper hit, I think that once these images makes the rounds along with a couple others I have see using this sculpt, people will catch on and realize its the best thing you can get right now that won't cost you 10 grand, and close enough that those who did pay 10 grand and don't truly have the means and don't care about one offs or exclusivity for principals sake, and are just after "the best Joker", will feel a bit sheepish and be looking to part with it when they realize they could make about 9.3 grand back if they put one of these in the hands of the right painter/hairer. Could be just my subjective opinion on that though. There are parts of his though that still reign superior, but this is close. In fact it does need a bit of mods. I filled in and made more subtle the scars at the sides of his cheeks and his lip/chin it helped an awful lot.
other than a good likeness to Heath, what this sculpt also has going for it is that it's textured, detailed, has eyebrows and other elements that other of the "top" joker sculpts out there seem to want to omit, which just has left me absolutely baffled for years in this day and age of hyper details. as detailed as you make the paint makeup you can't make up for a smooth/bland base sculpt.
This is the first joker though that I've had I think I'm happy with. Now just to get Finwee's replacement coat and we will be really talking!
