What's up peeps? I know there is a thread up by CTO15 for basically the same dio but since they have different builders, they are different in various ways. We agreed that we both could sell ours and no hard feelings.
Here is my finished dio:
NOTE: This dio is too big for a detolf. I wanted it to be as screen accurate as possible and if I made it shorter to accomadate a detolf, it would not be. I will take the measurements of it once I get home.
I work full time Active Duty U.S. Air Force, taking two college courses and I play two different intramural sports during the week so I am busy. I did build my dio in about 3 weeks doing all of that so with that being said I have established some guidlines.
Guidelines
- I will only be building two dios at a time. I do not want to over work myself and bite off more than I can chew. Once those dios are done and shipped, I will take on the next two. I am shooting for a 3 week completion time for both dios.
- I will send the customer a progress pic at least once a week so you can see where the build is at.
- If you want anything changed on the dio, please let me know before I start to build it (Different water formation, different colors, etc.)
- I will be shipping them USPS priority with tracking for people in the U.S. No tracking for international says my post office. I have no idea why.
- There will be some minor work to be done by the customer such as glueing on the rails and stairs. They will break during shipping if left up like in the pics above. Everything will come painted and ready to go.
-All in the box seperated will be the base, a smaller box with only the railings inside, the stairs and the cat-walk. I still haven't figured out a way to secure the cat-walk and the stairs but they will need to be glued to the base as well if you chose. My stairs and cat-walk are not so I can lift the whole piece from the base if need be. I will include instructions if requested.
Price
$250 USD plus shipping. A $50 deposit will be required to secure your spot once your dio is ready to be built.
