1:6 custom INDY Hat... Tall Crown Casts

I'll lay out April for making the actual pieces.... gives more time for stragglers to jump in and also other commitments to slide or take precedence - If that suits?

I want to start a price discussion... What sounds fair? (Remember I'm in U.K. so shipping will be fixed, but fair)

Yes, a good question! Will it fit the Inigou sculpts?

Best get an accurate measurement...
1. place ribbon or cloth strip around crown of head where hat is to sit.
2. carefully mark RIBBON with a pencil;
3. then lay ribbon flat and measure in millimetres

Moulded hat can be hollowed out closer to sending time to suit, methinks

otherwise we're into...
A) sending ALL variants of heads to me for try-outs.
B) sending a hat on a chain letter type journey to each subsequent person on the list. Could be fun?

Probably best to go with the measurement method I'll add head type beside your names

Hey buddy,

As I’m also in the UK, I’d be happy for you to send me a sample hat to try on an Inigou V1, Inigou V2 & Inigou V3 (smiling) sculpt and I can then post pics on here for people to decide if it looks right. The crown size is actually the same on all 3 versions, so if it fits one, it fits them all, but it would be good to see how it looks on each version. Keeps postage costs and lead times to a minimum then.

After that, you may want to try to find someone who has a Jnix Raiders sculpt (although I believe Jnix glued the hats onto those, so may not be too easy to remove them!), and maybe an MJ Choi (original), Treasure Hunter (knock-off) and maybe even the Sideshow ToD sculpt (although the cuts and bruises don’t really work for Raiders!).

In the meantime, I will get you some measurements from the hats I have.

Is anyone still displaying their Indy with a DX05 sculpt?!! If they are, I’m not too sure they’ll be that bothered about the accuracy of the fedora...:lol

I think I'll just send you the two hats, TIMEMEDDLER... (especially in light of how this is turning out) you can then show them on the different sculpts... I've only three types.

I'd hate to be seen as plagiarising! And it seem Lonnie (whose work this is) is about to make an announcement.
