Has a lot of interest coming from the pics I posted of this ring figure I posted









Usually people ask for a minimum of 10 interested but there is a possibility this can go ahead with 5 but it would require an up front deposit and the price will be higher due to production costs.

Definitely in for a DX!
I've wanted a Samara Figure ever since NECA was gonna make one year's ago & then ended up cancelling it.
Photos below. Maybe you can use these as a blueprint for the DX options?
I think if you can offer a Well or a TV that she can climb out of, a few more people might go for that!

For the DX I would actually like to do both those items. I think a dio and accessories will make this figure

If the price was to high there is also an option to offer sculpted hands only. However the joints on the body are ugly so its not my preference to do that.

I am still very interested, but I am thinking...I do want Samara but a basic figure for $600-$700...I'm not so sure. And then a DX on top of that.

Could you please explain your reason for setting the price so high? And how are you going to do the deposit/payments? Your answers will probably help me to make a decision if I want to remain on the list or not. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in reply

I am currently trying to cut costs so that i can try have a more affordable price but it means the figure will have to be less extravagant.

Here is a pic to show what i mean



V1 is the higher priced option i planned to have all the arms and legs 3d sculpted so that there would be no ugly joints ruining the look of the figure. This was making up a lot of the higher price as its very costly to print and cast all these parts.

V2 i am now considering just having the hands sculpted and then possibly hand sculpting and casting some details in the arms and legs. This will take longer but will be cheaper to produce.

I am also considering adding a dio to the normal option and a additional dio for the DX.

Im still working all the costs and details with my sculptor so i will keep you all informed

There will be a payent option offered but if we proceed with under 10 interested it may mean that a deposit is required before starting.

Btw is anyone worried about ankle articulation on the figure?

I bought one of the Neemo bodies bit it felt slightly undersized. I will be buying a Asmus body shortly so i can see them both in hand

I'm not worried about Ankle Articulation. I'd rather it be sculpted so we don't see an ugly ankle joint.

Hey Pete. I originally held back from expressing interest in this project due to my preference for the original Sadako over the remake's Samara, but I still think it should make for a hell of a set either way, so put me down for the DX option, please.

Maybe you can do a Swap-Out Head and you'd have both Sadako and Samara? Weren't the bodies pretty much the same?

A pm has been sent to all those on the list to attempt to get this project going. It will require an up front deposit. The figure will be the same as the proto pics but better and will include a diorama so I hope this appeals to everyone

Sadly as this is a figure run rather than a personal project (like Bubba Ho Tep) if we don’t get the numbers It will likely be cancelled or I could make a more basic figure for a lower price
