Who's up for a great companion piece to a Hot Toys Leonidas? Or did you miss out on good old Leo, just like I did? Then this project might interest you.

Ever since I saw the designs for the new movie Rise of an Empire, I knew it would be awesome to have a Themistokles on my shelf. And being a big fan of the tv show Strike Back, a sculpt of actor Sullivan Stapleton would be great for a Strike Back bash as well.

That's why I've started this thread, to gather interest for those who want a Themistokles (or Strike back figure).



Having seen recent sculpts of newcomer sculptor RC I've contacted him to see if he has a room in his schedule and interest to tackle this project.

Same here. Interested in all 3 but I believe I need to see the actual sculpt first.

Errr... not to hijack the thread, is it possible for you to ask the sculptor to do a HS of Artemesia as a companion piece too? My shelf's getting too testosterone-loaded...

RC will start sculpting next week, so expect more updates soon.
No deposits needed until sculpt is revealed...

Painted Themistocles head is looking good. Waiting to see how the armor comes together. Now need someone to make an Artemesia and I'll be happy.

I'm in for everything- head, helmet, sword -- painted provided the sample reflects what we will be getting.
