I just wanted to gauge if there was any interest in my 9th Doctor and War Doctor head sculpts. I know a couple of people have shown interest in my original post HERE.
I was thinking about $55 shipped within the US each for a raw cast or the pair for $100. You'll have to drill out the bottom to fit on a 1/6 scale body and paint. These can fit on an ACI Christian body or a Soldier Story v.2 or 2.5 body (The only ones I've tried them on).

9th Doctor:

1. Mudblood
2. bigbrocha
3. Tekkaman Blade
4. ShadowX81
5. Gruff Old Bear
6. meerkat

War Doctor:

Here's what my customs look like:

If you are interested, please post here and note which one so I can know how much time I need to put aside to cast these, as I want them in hand before taking any payment.

Thanks in advance for the interest.

these sculpts, painted and whole damn customs look amazing mate

In for #9.

Any way you could try casting it so the head is a bit bigger? I love the likeness and its the best 9th Doctor ive ever seen, but it looks a tad bit undersized compared to the body.

PS: While im at it, if you ever consider taking a crack at your Smallville Lex Luthor in 1/6, count me in for that too. One of my favorite tv characters ever!

Thanks ShadowX81! I wish I could cast things bigger or smaller, but I haven't used those products yet and it would require trial and error and making new molds.
The bodies I used may be larger than Eccleston's frame, so maybe a slimmer body would make the head more proportional to you. I used my Hot Toys figures as reference to the scale and it's the same proportions as the majority of them.
Like bigbrocha mentioned, it could also be the coat. For me, it looks good in person, so it could also be my camera work ;)

I'll put you down for a 9, but let me know if you feel the size can't work for you.

Lex would be cool to do since I already know his face by heart, but I don't know if/when I'll ever get around to it since I don't have a 1/6 scale Smallville collection yet.

I got my pressure pot set up today and did some trial casts. Apparently pressure casting still does not eliminate trapped air pockets, so I had to make a chute on both the molds by the chin. It's still not eliminating the small air pockets behind the ears as well, but those are pretty easy to fill for me, so I'll make sure those are fixed. The cast in the interior is solid, because I cut one open and there were very little to no air bubbles. I need to start using this for my mold making as well.

I'm interested in both, Vash.

As for those bubbles, it's good to put a few drops of resin in the mold, roll it around (rotocasting!) to hit the crevices, then slowly fill the rest. If the pour spout is tight, let the resin dribble down the side so the air can escape.

Peace.

Hi, Am I too late to join the list for an Eccleston head and would you be prepared to ship to the UK? if so please advise price including postage costs if possible. Great sculpt!
I am also interested in how Rose turns out and if it works and becomes available would maybe like one of those as well, but maybe bald so I can give her real hair. (All my long haired figures have non-sculpted hair!)
I have been reading your posts for a while but lurking in the shadows, but could not resist trying to get hold of one of your Ecclestons!!

Got you on the list Gruff Old Bear, thanks!
I been trying all types of ways but it may just be that those areas are just prone to getting air pockets. I'll keep at it though.

Not too late, I'll put you on the list, and I'll check on postage for you when I get the shipping items.
I'll be doing a sculpted hair version first and then I'll see if I can make one that can take real hair.
Thanks for finally coming out of the shadows ;)
