'Aliens' Colony WALLS & FLOOR set pieces (diorama parts) & STAR WARS floor panels
There is a collaborative* effort going on over at the Aliens Legacy forum to 3D model, cast, and then sell 'kits' of the floor grates and wall panels as seen in the corridors of "Hadley's Hope" in both 1/10th (NECA) and 1/6th (Hot Toys) scales. Right now this project is still in the design/exploratory phase as they are trying to asses interest and options.
For reference, this is the colony corridor that is being modeled.
These are some sample shots of the 3D printed parts so far

Floor grates and beams
No price points are yet known, and what constitutes the "kit" is still very fluid. However I hope rallying interest here will help the process along. Please reply if you would be interested in:
1.Everything that ends up getting Made (panels, floors, beams, etc)
2. Wall sets Only (panels, beams)
3. Floor Grates only (let the star wars guys know about this too. Same prop as used on the Deathstar)
4. Other (suggestions, wish list? But please keep it relevant to the diorama set pieces)
*(FYI, the collaborative effort referenced above consists of Willie Goldman, Matt Noble, and Nick-A-Tron as of the time of this posting. For those not familiar with those names, I'd trust all 3 guys to babysit my kids and/or hold on to large sums of cash for me while I go use the restroom. All 3 are class acts and do stellar work).
