Since we don't really see inside the house in the movie, I took some artistic liberties with the build. The base is built to fit inside a detolf, it will be roughly half an inch shorter in all dimensions to ensure fit. A hole for a Hot Toys crotch grabber (not included) will be made in front of the doorway. If you prefer to not have a crotch grabber or would like it fit for a different stand, please message me. Once finished with snow, the area surrounding the grabber will be smooth so the figure can stand properly.

The middle of the doorway does not have to look broken down, I can finish/customize it per customer request.

The price is set at $225 USD. US shipping is $35, international shipping is $75 USD. There's nothing I can do about that as USPS charges by weight.

Re: Bill the Butcher Snow Base

looks good man! May be a little bit of a stolen idea though :wink1:

Yes and no. The scene is from a movie so it's fair game... The only thing "stolen" is maybe the window, but I purposefully made mine different from from yours. I just build what I'm asked to.

Re: Bill the Butcher Snow Base

If anyone has suggestions on how to make the snow look better, please give me tips.

Re: Bill the Butcher Snow Base

The wood work looks great, maybe less snow on some parts to show more wood, and less level snow, in the movie there is a huge mound against the wall.

Yeah, I think I put too much on the left panel. The snow used to not be as flat, but the stuff dries flatter and thinner. The right panel needs more snow around the bottom too. I just didn't want to put more snow before drilling the stand holes. Got a few interested but no for sure takers yet.

I'll probably drill right in the middle and to the front of the building like in the movie. I know a few guys wanted several stand holes, but who knows.

Re: Bill the Butcher Snow Base

Just to update everyone, I finally got more snow in today. I have to wait on a new airbrush to come in though. My dog knocked mine off the table and the needle got messed up. I should be up and running on the other bases soon.

For the guys who wanted the table and shillelagh, those will be worked on soon as well. With college and everything started, my time is getting taken up even more. I also have an interview Monday with a local woodshop. I might have both jobs working with wood. :yess:

Re: Bill the Butcher Snow Base

Tried getting the snow less level and I added a mound on the right side like in the movie. I'll get better pictures once everything dries. Still need to drill a stand hole and add snow to that area.

Re: Bill the Butcher Snow Base

The proto base will be offered at a reduced price if anyone is interested. Just tell me where you want the crotch grabber hole to be drilled. It just needs some snow finished in certain places and a light white paint coating.
