Several people in another thread mentioned interest in Cary Grant.

I'm a huge fan of his films. Since his career spanned such a long period, I would prefer a look circa 1940, His Girl Friday and The Philadelphia Story.

If someone prefers his 'distinguished older gentleman' look of To Catch a Thief or Charade, then feel free to voice a preference.

1. Star Puffs
2. mstradford (prefers older)
3. Geronimo
4. gido
5. Gruff Old Bear
6. amstel
7.

Update: Rocco has expressed interest in sculpting this head.

Re: Cary Grant

I'd be in for one, but I'm more inclined to go with To Catch a Thief or North by Northwest era Grant.

Re: Cary Grant

Count me in...I would prefer a younger Grant but will take an older one if he's done right...!

Re: Cary Grant

I definitely like the look in "To Catch a Thief." He looks more distinctive.View attachment 356382

I can see what you mean about him being more distinctive with age. I guess I just love His Girl Friday, but if the majority of interest falls towards his c. 1955 look then I'm flexible like Geronimo.

In either case, I want this head done by a sculptor who is highly responsive to feedback.

Cary Grant

Actually, a good compromise between a young Grant vs. how he looked in "It Takes A Thief" would be how he looked in "Notorious". That was a great Hitchcock thriller and he made it in the middle of those two periods...you can take the sculpt in either direction. All you would need to do is grey his temples a bit to get the later look. Thoughts?

Re: Cary Grant

Can we get more people to jump on this? I really want to see this happen...where is "Judy, Judy, Judy?"

Wow, that is great news Star Puffs...I may find myself in your situation as well. It will be interesting to compare the two...!

Oh man finally!! Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn are my all time favorite actor and actress- loved them in Bringing up Baby, Holiday, and The Philadelphia Story.

I'm 100% in for one! And hopefully Rocco would agree to do a Katharine Hepburn sculpt.

I would also be interested in Katherine Hepburn. I would love to do a pre-war outfit for her.
