'Catch me if you can' custom full set

Hello!

I'm a figure sculptor Yumi Kim.

I'm working on my first full set custom project.
It's Leonardo DiCaprio from the movie 'Catch me if you can'.

The head is completed, and the accessories are making now.
The outfit by Yunsil and you can see the prototype soon.

I'm planning to start receiving pre-order in a month.

But it can be little more expensive because some accessories.

I'd really want to buy this figure, and I believe the final result will be so amazing!
But, I think the price is too expensive! I don't want to cause some embarrassment here, but want to state what I feel about the expected total cost which I didn't expect.

I feel the same way... I thought it will be around $800-900

I'm also thinking this going to be a bit over my budget..As much As I dig this hs. Any chance there will be a painted head only option (or unpainted)?

Same here. Others artists/companies like kjun, scott petrersen, rainman, iminime usually run around 800-1300.

My estimation for me was like
450 head
450 outfit
50 body
250 accessories
So overall maybe 1200.
Maybe add another 100 for glasses.

If this goes over 1500 I'm out, sorry

I was actually thinking 350 for the head and 350 for the outfit. 450 for a head I'm expecting lifelike quality tbh. 450 for the outfit I can somehow live with altough I think 350 is more realistic. And even for 350 I expect amazing results (look at balloonman, silentsurfer, sinag, sry for who I'm forgetting here etc)

Hi Yumi,
You were asking about accessories and I wanted to add some to consider; like his sunglasses, his briefcase with his checkbook for counterfeiting and his watch, tie clip, Pan Am ticket and his flight wings. Just some ideas to share. Thanks.

Hey, everyone! Yumi gave me permission to share my WIP on the accordian-style briefcase she has chosen to accompany this set.

I have a few things to change/clean up and then just need to add the handle. Thanks!
