Cult King's next offering will be:

Butch and Sundance

The figures will be based on the looks below

Here are pics of the WIP Butch sculpt

the sculpt looks awesome...but...i'm glad that my pockets have been getting healthier due to all the recent Offerings by this company....these last few have been all "passes" for me....yes...I remember the characters but not really my cup of tea....:)

As good as the movie is, though, it has one of the oddest, and frankly worst western soundtracks out there IMO. Burt Bacharach?

:monkey4

Yeah, I always thought the bicycle scene was bizarre and out of place. It is a flawed movie, but several scenes - "who are these guys" and the ending in particular - rank up there with my favorite in westerns. It is also my favorite Newman role, which is saying a ton considering how much I love Cool Hand Luke.

YIPPIEEEEE!!!!! I'm not a fan of this film at all, though it is entertaining. Paul Newman is long overdue for representation in 1:6. I think this sculpt will do well for a John Russell "Hombre" figure. Looking forward to this release!

[Rolls eyes]...and there was me hoping for a 'Trainspotting' quartet of Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud.

Wow, absolutely awesome sculpt!

And I for one love the music in the film. The movie was always more of a fun, 60s-style lark than a pure period film anyway (with dialogue that wasn't exactly period-accurate either), so the 60s soundtrack has never felt out of place at all to me.

Also, if I may make a suggestion, it would be really nice if at least Sundance's head was neckless and placed on an exposed chest. Just that picture shows how clear of a feature it is on the character.

The sculpt is perfection! Really hope they can do an unhatted so I can put together a Lucas Jackson!
I would love to see that.

Huslter is also a great role. Really a phenomenal actor - not many people represented easy-going cool like Paul Newman.

I for one love the old-school direction that Cult King has been taking. No other company or customizer is really going there. Dare I dream for a Harmonica and Frank down the line? It at least seems possible now.
