Hey all,
With the renewed interest in Forrest Gump lately, I thought I'd see if anyone would be interested in the paper props I created for my custom Forrest Gump 13 years ago (man, time flies).
The digital files I used to create these props were provided to me by the film's graphic designer who designed the props. They are the same ones used to create the props for the film! They literally could not be more accurate...
The set would contain the following:
1. Newsweek
2. Time
3. Runner's World
4. Enquirer
5. Curious George book
6. Gump/Mao ping pong paddle
7. plain paddle that Forrest used in the film
8. Investment letter from Apple, with envelope
9. IQ score chart
10. Sports Illustrated
11. Fortune Magazine
12. Look Magazine
From the picture, I don't think most of you need the box of chocolates at this point, or care for the Forbes magazine (which was just a mock up used during prep for the film, and not shown in the actual movie), or the feather.
For the twelve items above in the set, cost would be $85 plus shipping. If there are enough interested, I'll dig out my old harddrive with these digital files and produce another run... (For those of you who do want the box of chocolates, add $10.)
