I have had several people contact me about the backdrops I use in my Detolf display, so I am starting this thread to see if there is enough interest for me to have a short run produced through a local printer.
Each one measures 15"x15" and is designed for display in a Detolf shelf, but could be used in many other types of display. They have been designed and printed at high resolution on thick semi-gloss photo paper by a professional printer.
I have three styles ready so far, with more in the works:
I would be able to offer each backdrop by itself for $25. They are easily mounted by either securing them to a piece of black foam board that is set behind the Detolf shelf (as shown above), or mounted inside of the shelf using poster putty.
Two other options are having the backdrop mounted on black foam board ($5 extra) or mounted on sturdy 1/8" black acrylic plastic ($15 extra). Either one of these could sit inside of the shelf. I have two local manufacturers that can produce the materials for these, but they have minimum quantities, so I would only go one of these two routes.
If you would like to have these mounted, would you prefer foam board or acrylic backing?
I would also appreciate any other feedback you have regarding these, including suggestions for other designs. Thanks for looking!
