Duke-munny project (CLOSED)

The final poll tallies were 12 people interested in a young John Wayne and 10 interested in an Unforgiven Will Munny.

- As a result, this will be the principal page for the DUKE-MUNNY PROJECT once it gets rolling.
- Ive already sent IM's to all those who were interested.
- If you are interested in either sculpts, please send me a PM.
- The project will begin in 3-4 weeks. I will send you a PM once im ready to take deposits to send to the sculptor.
- Right now, please post any pics and ideas so we can come up with a general consensus to how the sculpts will look.

- BOTH will be sculpted with removable hats.

YOUNG WAYNE:
There are MANY looks we can go with a young Duke. What version do you want? What style hat? 2-3 of you have already mentioned a Stagecoach Ringo version. Please post ANY ideas, pics, etc...

WILL MUNNY
A few have mentioned a more "upset look" like a the end of the film. Like Wayne, post any pics or ideas...

COSTUMES
A vast amount of gear and clothing can be found at Battle Gear Toys and Stevos. For items that are specific to a figure, such as Will Munny's coat, I will be working with Unleashed Viper.

If you have any questions, please send me a PM. Im positive the end results of this project will result in some great Western customs! If you are interested in some of the other projects iv'e headed, sculpts, clothing, etc.. look for the Once Upon A Time in the West Project and The Deadwood Project.

I like the upset look for Munny too.
I think the angry look will set him apart from the ebay sculpts out there.

I support this look too. There are 2 sculpts that most use for Munny bashes and both have a neutral look. THIS look would be VERY different

FYI for those getting the Wayne sculpt:

The suit for a Ringo looks like an easy bash from BGT:
- 1860 Levis Jeans ( need suspenders)
- BLue Bib shirt
- Neckerchief
- boots
- winchester carbine

yeah, the survey is for a younger Wayne, it still might work for a Serachers Wayne

UPDATE: With the DEADWOOD PROJECT headsculpts finally coming to an end, i can now focus on this set. I will be sending info out to those that were interested in a few days...

UPDATE:
I sent out notices to make sure people were still in on the project and so far only 4 people have confirmed, and 4 have dropped out. Im going to give it a few more days and if dont have enough people interested, im afraid we cant go forward with this. SO PLEASE let me know asap whether your in or out..

Unfortunately, we did not get enough interest in the sculpts to continue on with the project. After various posts and sending out reminders, only 3 people said they were still interested in the Duke and only 5 wanted Munny.
