Hey You Guys!!! 1/6 Sloth from Goonies!!! Casts Available!

Casts are now ready for sale. What you see below is what you will get, I will repair the ears if you would like before I send the head as I cannot seem to get them to cast w/o bubbles.

Unpainted cast are $40 shipped in the US; $45 international.
(International would be uninsured, but it can be upgraded to registered for an additional $12if needed).

$40 includes the head, tuft of Vintage Chewbacca fur (for the hair and eyebrows) and a 1/6 Raiders T-shirt iron-on transfer.

Looks like I'll have casting materials on Tuesday... In my opinion it should be sooner since it's only coming an hour away, but I guess if you pay for cheap shipping they put it on the "extra-slow" boat :lol

Did a bit more work to Sloth last night; mostly refining edges and trying to get him smoother all around. I'll put up some pics after lunch today :duff

Here's a couple of pics on the KP body... I will be shaping the inside of the head to hopefully match up as close as possible to the shape of the KP neck size. The right side still needs some smoothing to get a better look for the additions to the jaw line and cheeks... but getting there.

This side had quite a bit of work done to it compared to the other... trying to fill it out a bit more by adding to the cheeks and brow.

I did some size comps... let me know what you think. Sloth was huge in the film and a Huge person in real life- 6' 8" And a lot was added to the actors head (15 layers according to one site) so I think the head is should be a bit large.

Here's a comp with 3 other heads; the original one with the KP2, Hatless Indiana Jones from Sideshow and an older HT made for a normal sized body. I think given the large sized body and added make-up the size is good... but it's hard to see stuff in your own work so I'm open to revision if you think it's needed :duff

It's not too much larger than Indy... and Indy while a smidge big for a 1/6 figure is (I think) actually a bit small on the KP

Unless I hear otherwise this should be the final sculpt... I've given everything a good sanding and hopefully when cast it should be nice and even looking. USPS still shows the silicone arriving on Tuesday; but I'm hopeful that's just an estimate and it will arrive today.

i think what keeps throwing it off for me is the fact that the body's neck is a bit skinny...i will have to mod my neck to make the head fit better....and you are right ...the head is the right size....the problem is the neck...i guess thats why i initially wanted to see a smaller head....so that it could look better with the stock neck...

i think what keeps throwing it off for me is the fact that the body's neck is a bit skinny...i will have to mod my neck to make the head fit better....and you are right ...the head is the right size....the problem is the neck...i guess thats why i initially wanted to see a smaller head....so that it could look better with the stock neck...

I person I think it looks okay on the neck, but I think the head will shrink a bit in casting which may work better for you. Of course altering a neck is always an option. I chose the KP primarily because of the larger neck size and thinking it would work best w/o modification.

Small hiccup in getting this cast... I made a mold yesterday and all seemed well. Unfortunately being a noob I did not properly ensure the mould didn't have bubbles and I got quite a few over the smooth areas of the sculpt :cuss

Anyway, except for what looks like a lot of skin texture it actually turned out pretty good. So I'm going to order more and keep plugging away.

On the plus side the head fit on the KP body (and neck joint) with just a minimal amount of scraping to the inside heads neck socket; so at least that worked :lol
