I just wanted to personally thank you guys, greatlakes6, WorGar, BigWayne, TonTon, Ike-con, amacord, Finn... you guys always always support me and chime in with your feedback and I don't take that for granted!

Mr Fung's head goes into the ranking between the Buffy and the mina which in my opinion the Buffy already really blew light speed past. Some of you may know that Daniel Craig got me into the 1/6 game. I may have had almost every one (worth owning) and directed a few of them so I have a visual encyclopedia of his face pretty much baked into my memory at this point . Unlike almost every other superior version released this one did not make me fall out of love with the Buffy leading me to believe we are finally perfecting the quest for one of the most elusive snd evasive likenesses to capture ever. In fact I think the perfect head would have to exist as a combination between the two. Fung's may edge out Buffy on structure and form accuracy ever so slightly but Buffy reigns in sharpness, texture fine detail and realism. The softness is my only real nit on the Fung as both are probably some of the most impressive works of art in collectibles I have ever seen. I felt I hadn't seen the Fung painted quite right yet despite seeing a few of the best of the best paint jobs on it already, which are all stunning in their own ways. What lacked in detail of sculpt to edge the likeness closer I tried to make up in paint, specifically in clever contouring around the cheekbone areas, necessary to age him appropriately and provide a level of structure not there in the inherent sculpt.

Well, Ray... as usual I am stunned by the detail and accuracy of your work. As you know, I kind of really like Indiana Jones... so he, more than most, gets my attention, both out of interest and in eager dissection of the attention to detail. Your Indiana Jones hits all the right marks. I am familiar with all the parts and they look beautiful together... topped perfectly with your new grail, the Buffy sculpt.

The sculpt is really amazing. The furrowed brow, the texture of the skin, the intense stare, the famous scar -- everything is highlighted and done at a level that even extreme macro photography still shows no flaw or weakness. It is alive. Taking a good picture of a sculpt that is literally 2 inches tall is hard enough, but to make it look that lifelike is true art.

My fedora is off to you, my friend!

If excellence has a name, it must be your Indiana Jones.

Everything is tight and proper, just like Gus would have it. Pants hiked where they should be, tie hanging exactly spot on just over the buckle, those perfect wire frames... all these details make it look so lifelike. And the simplicity... perfect. I know a lot of people don't appreciate a simple "man in suit"... but this is an excellent example why they should. When its done right, nothing looks more realistic. And that chicken bucket cracked me up in the best way possible.

I'm clearly well behind the times, but in a strange coincidence, my wife and I have been binging Breaking Bad for the first time and are currently 2 episodes away from completing this most incredible show... so Gus Fring has fresh resonance for me like no other. All you need, Ray, is a swap out Face-Off option.
