Full figure Norm Breyfogle Batman full set

I am working on a Batman figure inspired by the art of Norm Breyfogle.

This was the Batman I grew up reading, so the nostalgia factor is incredibly strong here.

Pretty much everything is being done from scratch. I expect the full set to include:
- 2 headsculpts (neutral and angry) by Lius Kusuma
- 1 pair of gauntlets
- 1 pair of fists
- 1 pair of open hands
- 1 pair of split-cut boots
- 1 belt
- fabric suit with bat logo (probably in 2 color schemes: black and grey / blue and gray)
- cape (working on something very special here, soon to be revealed).

The body will not be included in the full set. I think the best body for this project will be MOS or BvS Superman. Probably M34 with ankle extenders and/or Worldbox AT27 will work as well, but NB Bats should be rather slender. It's all a matter of your personal preference.

Right now I can tease both headsculpts. I expect to have the prototype ready by the end of July.

Since I will be making 2 of these for myself, to be able to display both headsculpts and both color schemes, I can probably do a small run of these if there is interest.

The ballpark cost of the full set (all parts unpainted, body not included) is 400-600 usd depending on the interest. SH + PP fees are not included. Production time shouldn't be longer than 6 weeks after finalizing the prototype.

Right now I'm mostly open for feedback and building an initial interest list. More details will come within 2 weeks.

Ok, here's an update as all of the 3D sculpted elements are ready.





The cowl has fins on the shoulders as it is intended as a support for the cape. The cape was usually drawn with these pointy tips and the goal is to mimic that look.

The body of choice is the HT MOS body. The easiest and cheapest way to get it is from a HT Darth Vader figure. Since the Vader body has a non-standard ankle peg the set will include adapters:


Printing starts next week. That's also when the suit will be made.

Once the prototype is assembled I will start the interest list.

My Norm Breyfogle Batman prototype is finally finished! Only 10 months of delay

I'm quite happy with the result. And I've learned a lot in the process

This kit is a limited edition of 10 pieces worldwide only.

Here's what you're getting:
- neutral headsculpt
- angry headsculpt
- pair of gauntlets
- pair of fists with presculpted pegs
- pair of open hands with presculpted pegs
- pair of boots (I will most likely drop the split cut and go with a single piece boot)
- belt
- chest emblem
- grey fabric suit
- black pleather trunks
- black pleather cape
- shoulder piece to hold the cape horns (optional to use)

All 3D printed parts come unpainted. Headsculpts are printed in red wax. Accessories are printed in grey resin.

The body is not included in the set. I think the best body for this project is HT MOS / Vader / Arkham Knight Batman / Batman Beyond. Probably M34 with ankle extenders, Worldbox AT27 and HT BvS Superman will work as well, but NB Bats should be rather slender. It's all a matter of your personal preference.

Production time is going to be 2-3 months.
