I told you I had 2 other figures already in progress after the King of History.
And that after that I might revisit the other characters from that show.
Besides, I heard a rumor that someone else was working on a ship builder character
from that show. And it's not me...:lol

Just so you know, I'm not planning on a full figure
unless we get 20 interested. Because we had about
half the people drop out of the King of History and we get
no price break on outfits unless we have 10 or more.

I edited the 1st post to reflect that.

Kool, in that case I'd be interested in a sculpt if a figure option is unavailable.

Re: Railroad Boss Custom Head or Figure

Hey Ike, for a full figure, have you thought about Yunsil? Gee whiz, though very good is so overpriced that I'm pretty sure you would have more commitment for a full figure. It would make a full figure in the $350 ballpark instead of $900. Just an idea...

Hey Ike, for a full figure, have you thought about Yunsil? Gee whiz, though very good is so overpriced that I'm pretty sure you would have more commitment for a full figure. It would make a full figure in the $350 ballpark instead of $900. Just an idea...

I've been doing this since 2006 and I have dealt with lots of good tailors, I dealt with Yunsil as well.
Ha-rue referred me to Yunsil. It was many years ago and at that time, he/she said doesn't work with leather.
So I moved on to others.

The figures Yunsil has made outfits for were not that much difference in price(outfit wise).

Geewhiz $350 for shirt, pants and vest. $250 if 10 sets or over. I just doubled checked and
the 3-4 projects I looked at that Yunsil was making outfits for, are $235 -$350(outfit only).

So how can a full figure be $350 ballpark, if just the outfit is $235 to $350???
Then you need head $60-$80, head painted $100+, accessories 100+ and so on and so on....:dunno

I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I really want to know.
Because I'd love to have that type of quality in an outfit and be able to make a top tier
figure for $350-$400, but it's not been possible so far and I've tried....a lot.

So if you got some kind of hook-up you want to let me in on, I'm all ears.
I would even pitch the Railroad boss outfit to Yunsil.

I'm guessing, even if I supply the leather(which I am) that the vest, shirt, pants will again
be in that range of $250-$350. Add head, paint, hair, accessories and you're right
back up in the $650-$850 range again.

Re: Railroad Boss Custom Head or Figure

Yeah, maybe my post wasn't clear enough, sorry,

I shouldn't have spoken of full figure. Just a costume option and painted head. That would put us in the $350 ballpark. A lot of us have bodies at home and other stuff. Some of us prefer painting the heads ourselves, or have a budget that is limited so prefer to do it ourselves. Others will have their chosen paint artist.

If I take the Connery Bond by BBkill and Yunsil. Mine uses a knock off TT, I did the paint job, Yunsil provided the suit and I had the shoes and PPK in my stash. So, all in all, it made for a fantastic figure for less than $400.

When I made the Yunsil suggestion, I wasn't implying you're doing it wrong, or anything. The idea was just to say that multiple options like, painted, unpainted, full figure or just accessories might attract more people. Also, I was specifically thinking about this figure, which uses mostly cloth and not leather. There's no arguing that Geewhiz is the king of leather and was probably the only option for Ragnar.

Once again, I'm not trying to sound offending or anything and am sorry if it came across like this. English isn't my first language and I'm not always aware of the mistakes I might commit.

Cheers, and keep up the awesome work,

JP

Well that makes more sense and I was not offended. Just curious if there was something I'm missing.

At first, I actually asked what people wanted. The option to just buy the outfit & unpainted head had no takers.
So then I offered full figure and unpainted head options.

Re: Railroad Boss-Anson Mount-Custom Head

Just so you know I'm serious...:wink1:

I just had this Colt Army 1860 made by Jon(fullmetal).
The head is made for season 2 look. So the Colt Army was
the most used in that season, before he went to the Remington.

Either way, It looks amazing and no one makes the colt,
they all make the Remington.
