Hey Everyone! I'm working on a figure case for sale and wanted to gauge interest and get feedback from Fellow Freaks. The company name will be Patriot Collectibles. Our launch product will be this case with some other 1/6 related accessories to follow!
Below I have posted the specifications of the case and some pictures of the prototype with a Hot Toys Darth Vader inside for scale. The case will come as a break down assembly and in pieces, will ship flat and would just have to be put together before displaying. Its very easy and all the tools required would be included in the set. Right now we only have 1 size to start but new models can be added to the line as the product grows and we see more of a demand for certain sizes.
Basically I started this endeavor because I have a modest collection of 1/6 scale figure (about 5 or 6) and I wanted to find some really nice cases without paying a fortune to display them in. However, when I researched I couldn't find anything that fit the bill under $100.00 that was either a stock molded unit or custom case that you would have to order from a fabricator. I know that most collectors show off their awesome collections in an Ikea Detolf or some other kind of large cabinet which is wonderful for a substantial collection. My solution is more geared towards those who have a more modest selection of figure(s) or those who want to highlight certain "grail" type figures in their collection.
Patriot Collectibles 1/6 Scale Figure Case Specifications:
-Overall Dimensions (10.885" W x 7.885" D x 15.250" H)
-Inner Case Dimensions (10.125" W x 7.125" D x 14.875" H)
-All Clear Pieces are precise cut and made from a very durable/high quality 1/8" and 1/4" Acrylic
-Corner moldings are cut to exact size and are colored to enhance the appearance of the case (Launch color is Black)
-All hardware needed is included in the set
-Construction is very easy and takes about 10-15 min
-End result is a high end finished case that displays your collectibles proudly without breaking the bank
I have a website in the works so soon I will be posting the link to that. But any feedback would be great and any questions you have I would be happy to answer, thanks!
