I think replacement hands are more in order. Hot toys hands just don't have Ledgers likeness down. I also think we need at least 10 different options and some with real knuckle hair.
Shouldn't there be a poll attached????

:lol No kidding! It has gotten unbelievably rediculous lately. I mean other than a TT and gloved hands, what hasn't been replaced and upgraded? :dunno
Actually for Kato's joker suit we have to upgrade to the truetype advanced.:lol ..so it's just the hands, and i will be repainting those.

I'm pretty sure that with the exception of accessories (weapons, cards, etc.) everything has been remade by someone else.
Eh.. i will still need the hands, weapons, cards,cash,stand and the cop gear..i also love the packaging, so i just got rid of the rest

No other license or character has brought out such obsessiveness. I guess I'm fairly obsessive about Terminator but thats manifested differently for me. I feel no need to replace what HT has done, nor does any other fan of that line - some of us are adding to what HT gave us but as far as customising thats it, maybe a bit of weathering & futzing and paper clips in collars here or there. It just seems like increasingly fewer people are happy with anything HT did for the Joker :dunno

Ya, all this is making me feels like my DX joker is super inferior with its stock HT DX parts.
Maybe it's time to trade it in for a better model.

Great post, lol. I have to say though that I bought the Joker Socks for the Nurse Joker figure, and my interest in the Bank Robber shirt is more about having a non-stock custom figure than because I think HT messed anything up on their release. I have customized everything from 3" Lead figures to 12" Collectibles now and for me it's more about making the pieces more "mine" than it is about just change for the sake of change.
