Long before Pulp Fiction, John Travolta was at the top of his game in the late 70s as Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever (1977), Danny Zuko in Grease (1978) and Bud Davis in Urban Cowboy (1980). SNF and Grease are iconic characters to this day. Urban Cowboy less so, and to be honest I wasn't that much of a fan, but it would be a nice piece especially if you could find a 1:6 mechanical bull.

Gauging Interest to see who'd be interested in these head sculpts by Rocco. Pricing TBD, but if there is enough interest I can also look into the white vested suit from SNFt. The rest of the outfits should be relatively easy to bash although could check the T-birds leather jacket.

These will be digitally sculpted by Rocco, and if you check out some of his latest digital work like Sean Connery and The Walking Dead you can see he has been knocking it out of the park in the likeness department.

15 is the magic number for any of these to greenlight. I'll update the thread with info about pricing, painting, etc.

Need outfits

I agree. Let's first see if we can get interest going for the heads and I can then look into tailoring. It's probably going to require at least 15 folks as well. The SNF white suit will be the tough one, but there are several folks who can make it, just a matter of cost. For Grease ZY has pretty good 1:6 leather jackets available, although they would not be completely screen accurate. The other option would be the black t-shirt and black slacks. Bud just needs a plaid shirt, jeans, big belt buckle and boots, which is all easily bashable.

Really, no interest? I'm going to check with a couple of tailors and price out outfits to see if that makes a difference. Otherwise I'll just look for another project or opt to do these as short runs later in the year.

That's a shame nobody is interested in a 1/6 scale Tony Manero from Saturday Night Fever ???? I would love to have that in my collection. Tony Manero is one of the most iconic screen symbols of the 70's. I have been working on one for about three years.
