[Snyderman + Wake] FULL FIGURE SET Joan Holloway (Christina Hendricks) of MADMEN.

Hello all,

Now that most of us are completing our Don Drapers, thanks to Kato's suit, and Trevor and Rocco's sculpts, it appears to me that there is a need to fill! I gauging interest for a very limited complete Figure run of Joan Holloway as played by Christina Hendricks on AMC's hit show MAD MEN.

I've contacted snyderman (TOM) and he is willing to sculpt the head (with sculpted hair). If any of you have seen his Haley Atwell you can rest assured that this sculpt will be top quality.

The full set will include Joan's dress and undergarments tailored to fit a Phicen pale large-breasted body (whether the body will be included remains to be seen). The undergarment will have extra padding in all the necessary places in order to achieve the correct proportions of the actress/character. Accessories will be: Joan's gold pen on chain, stockings, shoes and purse.

As far as pricing is concerned. It's still too early and a lot will depend on how many want to create a Joan. This is non-committal just want to gauge interest.

That looks like a pretty good option. I definitely suggest sending the sculptor the body to work with so they can get the fine-tuning just right. That neck to sculpt transition can make all the difference.

I love the work that Snyder-man produces, but you will probably have more luck getting the numbers you need for this project by using Rocco as the sculptor. His projects draw a lot more comments and page views than Snyder-mans.

Don't really need a lot of views because it will be extremely limited run. Maybe only 10. I'm basically doing this project for myself and offering duplicates just to help mitigate the cost.

Tom (Snyderman) has let me know that they will be starting the sculpt in about 2 weeks. Hopefully will have something to show then!

I'm working with a doll dress maker currently on fitting the Phicen body with the correct clothes. Hope to have images in a couple of weeks too.
