First I made these prints with a "supposedly" beige pink resin.
As you see itis actually almost a milk color, and I had loads of problems in taking sharp pictures as the the light refracted. So even if I see all the nice details of the skin I cannot capture them on camera (see evil in first pic)

So I decided to use i darker color and you see the second and thirs pics.
Those just came out of the printer and are now curing. I'll print also the evil one with same color and will pubblish the photos.
Feel free to get back to me with any thought or questions.

Yes, I love this mix that I created, a lovely pale rosey skin tone.
Here are some pic that I had to take inside my house as today is a dull rainy day here. I'll take more pics later with the body.
Sorry for the photos with my fingers in them but it seems to be the only way to take good ones with a decent light.

These are looking fantastic.
What's the scale compared to the Hot Toys head, these look slightly smaller to me.
Any chance of a side by side picture with the HT Sculpt?

Yes It is slightly (but just a little) smaller than the HT head, which is too big for the body they used. I tried to make it more proportioned to the Body.
If I could I would make it even smaller to make it proportioned to the body, but better keep it like this as the neck is quite big.

Your heads don't look much smaller and your facial features look more in proportion to the face. I like your smiling reeve

Can the head go a little further down on the neck?

Like this. Do you think it should go further down?
Maybe just a tiny bit. It might be just the way his head is tilted in the pics. I just wondered if there was a little wiggle room to adjust it a little for personal preference

I can see if there is room for some more space to enlarge the hole I created😊 . I am still adjusting something in the sculpture.

I think it should go even further down. His jawline should be pretty much the same width as his neck. There should be no indentation of the neck at the jawline. I think the hot toys neck is thick enough... eventually. Also the bottom of his chin extends almost all the way down to where the traps meet the neck.

While I am sure there are many pictures that can be used as evidence to the contrary the below images are the look that I am hoping to eventually create. I think they work well as a reference as they are pretty much straight shots with him looking straight ahead.

In looking at the sculpt it is unmistakably Christopher Reeve. If I had any suggestions for improvement I would say that the ears could come out more and have larger more rounded lobes. The sides of the hair could also poof out more and indent where they meet the top of the ear. There also shouldn't be as much of the forehead visible where the hair is parted. My personal preference would be to have more curl in the front strand but I know that varies scene to scene.

In any case, I couldn't be more psyched for these. I have waited a long time to have a perfect version of this figure and I think these sculpts are going to be a major step to get me there.

I think everything you've just said I would totally agree with. Youve done an amazing sculpt

Wow! Amazing feedback and CC. Thanks. Very appreciated.
I agree on the neck. As you see in Christopher Reeve, the neck is quite wide, so i hope I can find enough space inside the head to make room for "more neck" as going down the neck is also a bit larger...

As for the ears, in the pics I put the head very close to the camera and the perspective can give you the impression that the ears are too close to the head but I'll check that too.
I love your analisys and interest in this work :)

Probably just making the sculpt a mm or two bigger would solve the problem of moving the head down a little. The necks really wide on the hot toys body so it would probably look more in proportion also. The sculpt is great

I am trying to keep the same size. I plan to make another print today with the modification :)
