One of my favourite props from all movies by now and one of the pieces that shows how cool 1/6 scale is for miniature props.
It allows showing really fine details but it can get incredibly challenging.
A step I took in another project finally brought me to an idea for this, hope you will like the result.
Each can will come with accrate readable printing (you will need a lens for the back side though).
Was lucky I found a good template already and only had to do minor tweaks).
This is a first teaser, just to get an idea of the size (no final print quality shown).
Also for the inner cylinder I work from an existing 3d model, modiefied a lot modified for more accuracy and to work in 1/6.
The outer can parts and the vials are modeled from scratch using specs of original vials and the accurate late 80th / early 90th 11oz can, which maches the size of the can from the movie exactly.
Fun fact: While Dodgson "Dodgson, we've got Dodgson here!"
wants Nedry to steal 15 viable embryos, there were actually only 10 slots for the vials in the can.What you will get:
