Do you know price and was it black&white, not blue and white?

I've asked for a price quote. Should get a reply by tomorrow.

I was thinking we make this in black in white. As in how he looked on screen. a black and white figure from a black and White film. Would be unique and really the only way I can think of Bogart.

In reality it was a blue Suit I am pretty sure.

I'm interested, but I don't feel the suit should be in black and white. If in true color, we could always take pics of it in black and white, but we can't go the other way. Also, he should have a fedora. That's a must I believe. Can that be sculpted along with his head?

I can see you're point, but Bogart has been immortalized in B&W. IMO The Maltese Falcon is a black and white film and the figure should be A black and white figure. Anyone else have any opinions on this matter?

Anyway, about the hat.. Ask Gido and maybe he can bring it up with the sculptor.. We could possibly get a variant sculpt. But I'm not sure. Personally, I prefer unhatted, as most of the film he is inside a room without a hat.

I'm interested, pending cost. Will it be tailored to the TTM-22? I like the idea of a black and white figure.

Yep, 22 would be the most accurate as Bogie was 5'7-5'8 and a small thin build.

Shouldn't be too costly, not any complex patterns and no waistcoat/vest. I shot Yunsil an email few hours ago and should here back with a quote hopefully tomorrow.

I've gotten a reply from Yunsil, pasted it below :

Thank you for inquiring about your project.
The unit price for your order is as below.
- Unit price for 15-19 sets : $300.00 USD
- Unit price for 20-24 sets : $250.00 USD
The unit price is different depending on order quantity.
If you order more than 30 sets, the unit price is around $200.00 USD.
- There is the extra cost because the pattern is included in the outfit.
< Extra cost >
- Jacket&Pants : Printing cost $100

We are at 7 so far, if we hit 15 it'll be $300, if we hit 20+ it'll be even more affordable.

I agree. Maybe we take this one step at a time. Let's see how many sculpts are purchased, meanwhile we all look around. I have a sewing resource That made me some custom suits (round collar) for some Beatles figures I out together a while back. They did a great job, and much cheaper. I don't know if they would be willing to do multiple suits though...I can check. Also, there are grey pinstriped suits out there that would also work. The killer is the fedora though, because Bogie's was very distinct. If fact, if you do a search under Bogie's fedora you will see his had a higher crown with a wide band. Hopefully we can get that sculpted..

Those that own Yunsil's work will know the masterful miniature suits she and her team produce. Bogart is in my top 5 favorite actors and The Maltese Falcon is a Personal top beloved film of mine, I want the perfect representation available.

I understand some may feel differently. If we do not hit 15 committed buyers this will not happen.
