I have 2 more Star Wars swing bridge versions to complete then should be able to spend more time or the speeder project between the current commission builds.
The speeder is definitely our next big build :yess:

Ok chaps, finally got rid of the dreaded man flu and back in the J-cave.
Have been getting stuck into the next two “open door” swing bridges and was wondering which side you want the control panels on?
Luke & Leia have both control panels on the left (as u look at it)

Or on the right (as u look at it) for the troopers side

Can’t wait to see. These will be phenomenal just as everything you and Pete create.
If it is for the open door swing bridge with stormtroopers, placing the control panel on the right to match the stormtroopers image would seem to afford nice balance if both swing bridges were displayed together either side by side or on opposing walls, one with Luke and Leia and next to it or across from it the one with the stormtroopers. Just a thought.

Love all your amazing creations.
 
Almost finished re-fitting my bathroom after a bit of a water leak, but should be back at the bench this weekend all being well.
Got a couple of builds on the bench to finish off then it's full steam ahead with the 1/6 speeder.

So ridiculously excited for the speeder!!!!!!!

CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: in fact - this is the item I'm hanging out for more than anything (even more than the Legendary Boba Fett!). If someone said, "if you could have any SW collectible, what would it be..." THIS!!!! Been waiting 41 years!!!!! :)
 
Having a few head scratch moment with these open door versions, as they just don't look right.
Trying to keep true scale whilst remaining aesthetically pleasing on the eye is a bit tricky.
It's the depth that's causing the problems as they look too "fat" as the perspective looks weird being double the thickness of the other "closed" door version.....It's not going to beat me and I'll sort it eventually.
I may have to crack on with the Speeder and get these two open door swing bridges a rethink.
