I've decided to rework the hair a little so it works better with 3d printing. Also this is an older sculpt so the hair could do with a bit of improvement.

As this will be primarily fitted to the JX-01 body, I'm not keen on the stubby neck. One solution if you're brave enough, is to open up the torso skin and insert a piece of 16mm diameter rubber tubing inside the top of the neck to push out the shape, so similar to a hot toys body neck.

That's a great solution. Always disliked the tapering on that JX neck.

The new Arnold sculpt on FB looks great, but but but….is this a mental block because in the years since ROAD WARRIOR Mel has revealed himself to be a dickhead? When when when?

Hey all, I've been reworking Max's hair from the ground up as its an old sculpt and the hair wasn't really holding up. I'll have an update this week. It's getting pretty close now.

I think I'm done with the hair now. I'll be removing the neck and getting it ready for a 3d print test. I've made the new hair quite spikey in places so need to see how well that holds up.

I'd be thrilled to make the list for this one. I've been chasing an accurate Max head for decades and this is by far the best I have seen! Well done Beastmaster! Beautiful work! Mel is a tough one to get right but you've nailed it!
