This is a new attempt at his jersey customization using laser-cut, real-fabric numbers and letters (very thin polyester lining versus very thick polyester tackle twill on real jerseys). Replicating the zig-zag stitching is not possible due to the size.

I am tentatively finished with the shoes. The metal spikes are on order. The tongue will be laser cut leather with the Nike design impressed into it. I may experiment with adding a real cloth bow.

Here is v2 WIP of the fastball hand with the thumb properly tucked (I check the film for how he held it). I am going to print this version, tweak it based on what I see, and start getting it ready to attach to the arm. I will also try printing with the baseball separate and all as one piece because separate would be easier to paint.

Here is a mock up of how the shoe will look with the white socks and stirrups.

The custom leg attaches with a ball in a cup, just like Hot Toys' ankle pegs.

I'm still going to try cutting a real lace for the bow.

Here is the printed fastball hand with the custom arm attachment. The two pieces attach with magnets. This way the hand piece can fit through the wrist opening on the shirt. The white resin is a "tough" resin that will not crack under pressure from the elbow joint.

Test print on the glove after dozens of minor tweaks.I added the integrated index finger sticking out the back. I scaled it using the baseball from the pitching hand as the reference.

At least two of the knots, maybe three, will need to be printed separately in a flexible resin to replicate the way they stick off the glove without being overly fragile. the 'arms' of the knot at the bottom left of the glove in the first photo broke off.

I want people's feedback on the need for a second glove. I am doing a second fast ball hand with the wrist angled back (see WIP below).

I was studying the film and real life pitchers. Other than when snapping shut on a ball or when the player takes off the glove and puts it under his arm, the glove is varies between very open (like the existing glove model) or just slight more closed.
