spoke with Amnur we should start seeing wip in early feb is everyone using the new hot toys muscle body ? and everyone wants this neckless right ?

Neckless and no. There's a guy at OSW using the new HT muscle bod and unfortunately the arms are too small

So I might see if I can make the body armor on a bigger bod for mine. I'm also having trouble figuring out how to work a part of the mechincal arm to fit on a bigger body which I think sheet metal might be the answer to. The rest of the armor from the Dragon fig seems to fit the Barney Ross bod though.

i agree guts is built like a tank the new ht body is small wonder how he might look on a t800 body that maybe to big for the armor

I can't believe how insane that one is on OSW! I know the TTM019 looks small but it's probably the closes body out there and I don't think it looks terrible. I am going to have to look into this and figure out I want to tackle it myself .

Just fyi guys, you'll need to make a new thingy for what I circled here if you're using the Dragon fig for parts since the one it comes with won't fit over the muscle bod arms

i was planning on having a peg in his arm cause based on your pic above it would be hard for to do different poses but the problem with the peg is it shows here are a few pics .
as for the thing that goes around his arm it doesnt fit around his bicep sheet metal may be a good idea

I'm not to keen about that head to be honest.

I don't like the overall shape.
Jaw should be a bit more defined and more square.


THis reminds me too much of the Dragon head.

I would have liked something more realistic but that is just me.

Realistic I meant less anim and more like a real representation of guts.

I really like this in term on overall face and look.

Too early to say anything as of now. Not to be disrespectful, but I would like to see more progress.

Like
- I like the expression
- the detail in the teeth looks good.
- that left ear, love it

Expect
- more detail wrinkles, structure on the face, and hair please (I'm sure more is on the way, it's very early to tell).
- a bit more evil will be great, he did come back for revenge.
- possible to make the hair on the forehead separately? Would like it to stick out a bit more so I can paint the forehead. Also allow him to have better expression

I know this is more later stage of Guts, but that's when the drawing n style from the artist mature with his Pen n lines of Guts' head.

Then again, still too early to make any judgement on this, would like to see more. I like how Elvis1976 uses the HT new muscle body. Can we make the head size similar to the original Dragon size? Since its an anime, the head are usually a bit smaller compare to normal proportion.

The cape is in the making, pattern is being design right now. Our goals is to have it big enough like the anime, that can be wrap around his shoulder armor, and still go over Casca's head. But the result of the sculpt is what motivate us to make a good cape. We look forward to see more.

This is too early of a stage to judge, I don't want to make too much critic on this head yet.
