Re: 1:6 Ellen Ripley Portrait

Had time tonight to check the Aliens Ripley HS i received this morning and noticed a thing on the chin.
Like if it was added. Disapointing...

Jeronimo got this on yours?

Hi Olbert,

That was just an air bubble that was filled in with Apoxy Sculpt. I am sure you will not be disappointed once you have it painted. Air bubbles are common on the chin and in other tricky places on a portrait sculpt casting from time to time, including in many of the retail resin products you may have in your very own collection.

Re: 1:6 Ellen Ripley Portrait

Looks very good, but doesn't really blow me away like theAliens version.
Don't really know what is bothering me...

Re: 1:6 Ellen Ripley Portrait

These look incredible! Awesome sculpts all around, and the paintjob on Jones is almost lifelike!

Re: 1:6 Ellen Ripley Portrait

Mixed thoughts from me.

Jones is excellent, reallly nice paintwork but looks a little too perky for me, a scared pose would be really cool showing his teeth like in the scene with brett, but thats just nit picking.

Ripleys fringe hair looks a little high on the forehead but is really nice aswell, will reserve judgement untill the painted pics are up, great job so far.

Re: 1:6 Ellen Ripley Portrait

Awesome paintup! Shouldn't the hair be a little darker though? It looked black in the movie.

Re: 1:6 Ellen Ripley Portrait

Yup, I think the hair should be darker.
If it could also be positioned a little further down I think it would help a lot.
Still, I like it very much!
What are the options for the neck?
