Update:

I picked up some new red suit fabric today. A nice material/ lighter weight which will allow the coat to wrinkle and look more natural at this scale. I have roughed in all sculpted pieces except the additional head sculpt. I added some detail to the hands and Max. still a ways to go and i need to finish/smooth the wax. The decal is from corrosedesigns.
I also picked up some nice brown fabric for the Grinch's bag. Each bag will be designed to show 2 or 3 presents coming out of the top of the bag. The figure will also come with an ornament like in the poster/decal. Overall, still a ways to go but it's coming together. I should start molding/casting next week which will leave the rest of the time to focus on perfecting the costume/suit/belt/pants, etc. The boots are done, just not in the pic. I threw in the last pic with Dark Helmet and Leo just for fun. I think the Grinch will look great on display in between them.

I know the Grinch didn't line his suit but you guys deserve the best quality. The black piece is the 'pillow' providing the grinch stomach shape. Hope you guys like it so far. working on the belt tomorrow. who knew the biggest challenge in this project would be the belt buckle!

A little fun fact about me is i'm color blind. So you dont want me to paint. . I was at the store yesterday picking out fabric to make myself a wonka coat and i had to ask if the fabric i picked out was blue or purple. When mixing paint i dont always have someone around to ask so it doesnt work very well. So thankfully we have talented painters on the board. The figure will come complete with body and will be painted.

All the pieces ready for molding which I will do tomorrow. I'm sending the proto plastic parts to the painter this week. Last piece of the costume is the bag and presents.
