It’s the Sideshow “Jabba’s Palace Archway” that was released years ago. It even has a light up door panel and wall section.

Just wanted to show off the amazing work that Pete and Jas did on the Indy Mine Cart. Still one of the centerpieces in my collection.

Jay did an amazing job on those carts they were a really nice project to paint too, a really nice display piece.

I got everything wet sanded and I'm back in the cave getting some paint down.

First Shade of grey on the doors

Right hand one has had another added here

Looks harsh in the above pic but in reality it's a bit more subtle. It does get darker as it dries so if it ends up looking too much i
Will go back and tone it down if need be

I'm hoping to get the shading done on all of them today but we are having a bit of a cold snap here at the moment and it's freezing down here in the cave so I'm going to venture back upstairs in a bit and have a cuppa and a warm up but hopefully I can get the rest shaded today.

I'll be amazed if there is anything left in the supermarkets today mate, as we are due for more snow and -6c the whole of the UK will grind to a halt and everyone will panic and no doubt start prepping & stock piling food & water as if the end of the world was imminent :lol
This new storm front is supposed to be so severe the met office has even given it a a scary name......“The Beast from the East” ha ha ha class.

Those Indy Mine Carts were a fantastic build and still one of my fave's and sits proudly on the top shelf in my Detolf.

Have made a start building the last two "Open Door" swing bridges and just working out the door thickness and will be cracking on with them over the weekend....As long as we're not snowed in of course :rotflanic:

I know we are obsessed with the weather in the UK but the media are something else lol. No snow here yet just cold but it did t feel as bad down in the cave today.
According to the reports its going to get worse but at the moment it's not too bad.

The carts were great weren't they, feels like a long time ago when we did the proto

Made some decent progress today, base colours are all on

Tomorrow I'll get in with a darker tone to create some shade and definition, then it's the step and a little bit of refining and they will be done.
All being well I should be shipping next week
