Here is what I found so far! I'm still re-watching the film to see if any more visible images of the upper portion of the boots appear. However, based on what I can see in this image, it appears that the crocodile pattern disappears when moving away from the base of the shoe toward the top. Here are a couple of images where you can see the crocodile texture not present and more smooth texture leather toward the top of boot. I believe the reference boot in the image below is the closest match I've seen so far. Let me know what you all think.

Very exciting everyone. I think we have a winner overall. Obviously the most important part is the lower foot section, and the images we've found look pretty spot on. The top portion is just icing on the cake, I'd say. Unless there are any objections or new found images/resources that dispute this, I'd say we have something good to go on.

Remember I won't be starting these for a little while so we still have some time in case something new comes up.

Also, we never mentioned a price, but a painted pair will probably be around $75. I will have to check with my caster to be certain, though.

I haven't ruled it out yet. Obviously I can't do real reptile skin at scale, but I have some ideas for how I could potentially make this happen with leather. I CANNOT promise this in any way, but we'll see. I always love a challenge on how to figure out new techniques to accomplish specific things.

Obviously if real leather happens it will be more expensive, so we'll see.
