PROJECT 6: QUIGLEY

Gents
- The project is a go!
- This will be a head-hat and clothing set project.
- We will also be offering a paint option by Mus Musculus for those that are interested.
- All updates for this project will be posted on this thread.
- If your interested in the project, contact me to be added.
- Project is set to begin at the end of the month
- The deposit payment will be due at the end of the month. The first payment will be 50% of the total before Will begins.
- We will then have full input in the sculpting process with Will. I will post update pics and give him your feedback throughout this time. If you were involved in any of the previous the projects, you already know how smooth they went.
- Once the sculpt is done, the other 50% +Shipping will be due before he begins casting
- The payment for the clothing sets and will begin when the head-sculpt are nearly done.
- Cost info will be sent to you by Private Message...

The polls went on at SSF, OSW, and past customers that had interests in some of the figures..

The final vote went:
1. MATTHEW QUIGLEY - 12 Votes
2. BUTCH & SUNDANCE SET - 10 Votes
3. WILD BILL - 5 VOTES.

But, WE ARE doing Butch and Sundance. They will be our Project 7 after Quigley. We should start around October /November.

Were jumping ahead of schedule by a few weeks!!! Will is starting the sculpt by the end of next week!!

I know it's early, but how likely is it that accessories will be produced for this? Just wondering if I need to start looking now for other parts like his holster, boots, rifle, gloved hands, etc...

UPDATE:
Deposit sent to Will!! Hell start on the headsculpt this weekend, ill post pics as soon as i get them!
a few still need to send in the deposit.. please do it ASAP!

and the ammo belt made by Old Travellar for our accessory set!! (Please note the ammo bullets are not accurate and only fo scale reference)

Really good start so far, and that ammo belt looks perfect! I think the frill on the side of the chaps could be quite a bit shorter though. And after looking at photos it looks like the chaps should be much narrower too, and only really flaring out at the bottom (kind of like a pair of bootcut jeans).

Also wonder if they might be a bit too orange, compared to the dusty brown of the movie...

Its just new leather thats still stiff... the film ones are old and weathered...

It's a good start, and the shape of the eyes look pretty good. His nose still needs to be made more crooked though (and should slope down more in profile), and the eyebrows should be thicker towards the outside and not towards his nose. And of course for Quigley the ends of his mustache need to curl up just a bit too.




And personally I'd love to see him with just a hint of that smile he has in the poster, since it fits the personality of the character so well (and is very Tom Selleck). But not sure what others would want.
