Re: ART FIGS PROJECT 6: Quigley (Clothing/Ammo belt/Headsculpt 1.0)

It's a good start, and the shape of the eyes look pretty good. His nose still needs to be made more crooked though (and should slope down more in profile), and the eyebrows should be thicker towards the outside and not towards his nose. And of course for Quigley the ends of his mustache need to curl up just a bit too. :)

And personally I'd love to see him with just a hint of that smile he has in the poster, since it fits the personality of the character so well (and is very Tom Selleck). But not sure what others would want.

For sure!! this is just step 1, still needs a lot of work! I agree with the smile! it fits the character

UPDATE: Version 2.0. The hat is just a placeholder. ALL input is welcome!!

What do you think of this?

Nice, looking a lot more like Selleck now! I still think he needs a slightly crooked nose though, and the sides of the hat should curl up more too.

Just my two cents but I think the hat is setting a tad too low in the front. The top of the hat should be sunk in the middle at the top and the brim should be turned up on both sides as the picture shows. As far as the face goes it appears to me to be lacking detail on the mustache and goatee. It looks a little odd combed straight down when it should be a little bushy and not so straight. I also think the bags under the eyes are throwing the sculpt off. The hair also could be a little more bushy.

I'd agree with most of this, the moustache needs to almost have a parting directly beneath the nose and the bags under the eyes need to be lessened but not completely removed. I think the hair is ok and the hat seems to sit right but it needs to turn up more at the sides.

Yeah ageed about the shape of the brim still being off.
