Apparently I had this thread in the wrong section, so here is a link. I'm doing a second run of these if anyone is interested.
When you simply take artwork from the internet and print it, you end up with a range of quality issues from pixelized/fuzzy artwork, to moire patterns that causes the end product to be less than stellar. When I do a project like this, i recreate every logo in vector from scratch to be hi resolution. My professional background includes over 20 years of graphic design, illustration, pre-press and mechanical file building, product design and manufacturing, years of experience as a senior art director, and now creative director of my own business. I own and operate my own equipment and use a printer similar to what you would find in a sign shop, so the quality is top shelf.
Decals are done on eco solvent digital vinyl and are simple peel and stick application. I have been asked a few times how this differs from waterslides and the main reason is the ease of application, and each decal is machine contour cut to the shape and letters, where waterslides have that clear outline around the art that is very visible.
Please let me know if anyone else wants to get in on this second run, most likely there will not be a 3rd!
