Ok guys - The time has come!
COWLS ARE SHIPPED!!!!
Now - on to the details...
CARE: Be easy with the cape clips - the area where it mounts to the cowl is delicate so handle with care. They are fragile!
FACEPLATE REMOVAL:Should not need to do this until the second faceplate comes out in the future BUT... if you want to remove the faceplate there is a HOLE on the inside of the neck. Use a thick paperclip or something of the sort to push on the backside of the faceplate. This should pop it right out.
FIT: The Cowl DOES need help to keep it on the neck post. I fit this to a TT Advance torso and it fit the torso fine. The neck post on mine needed a thin layer of material to hold it in place. I simply used one or two layers of a facial tissue (very thin) and it held fine after that so it just needs a very thin layer to offer enough friction to hold.
I would think blue tac or even teflon/plumbers tape would work fine as well. I know some ball joints on neck posts can vary slightly in width so it may not even be an issue for some of you.
Let me know if you have any questions on here and I will try to clear it up.
