Hi guys, just an update that i am still waiting on the head casts to arrive but i am still going to be accepting remaining payments for the painted heads on the 15th July as planned to keep on schedule.

Also i now have a price for the belt of $127 and will be taking the payment for that and the glasses by 15th August.

Here is a list of planned payments:

• Remaining $100 for painted heads 15th July
• Belt & Glasses payment $247 due 15th August
• Clothing $250 (optional fat suit $15) by 15th September
• Zimmer frame (est $300) by 15th October

Just an update that I should be getting the belt leather, boot, head and belt cast in within the next week

Managed to find a very high quality real leather for the belts and currently having it thinned so its correctly scaled.

Just made a diagram for adding the rhinestones and have a better idea of the costs for me to add them. The service will be $100 plus metal studs to be determined at a later date.
I will be offering services to apply the studs and also a stud and guide for those that want to do it themselves.

The issue I am having is finding oval studs in the correct size that I can order in bulk. At the moment I can only find once source that cost $4 for 20 and we need 240 per suit. I have found a supplier in china that sells them in bags of approx 10’000 but this means I need to know if anyone’s wants the studs regardless if its applied by me or not?

The packs of 20 are very limited so if you want them I need to know ASAP

Thanks to everyone for getting back to me and it looks like everyone wants the screen accurate version.

The stones themselves would have been around $50 but the bulk supplier has got back to me and it will now be $37 each.
Its not a huge saving but as I will have 10’000 I can send lots of spares.

I have added the total payment for the suit to the schedule on the front page and here

Also small update i received the leather from the splitter today, left is the ordiganal and right is what it looks like now.



Was hard to find a nice smooth leather and now its been split its the perfect size for this project

uhm...i'm not in this thread to cause any problems but the headsculpt doesn't have any holes for the very nice glasses to be inserted to...won't this be a problem specifically since his ears are covers in sculpted hair?

Its cool I am adding the holes for the glasses manually. I wanted them to be nice and tight with the hair so I will be cutting off the earpieces and drilling holes in myself.

Casts came in Friday and are being prepped right now and I just got a text that all the glasses have come in from fullmetal along with an altered jumpsuit from gheewhiz

So should I paint up one set as a proto so you can see a finished figure in all its glory or shall I crack on with painting the run?
If I make a proto it will only delay the run by about 2-3 weeks and we still need to wait for the outfits and zimmers for the run.

Still working on the proto but i will post some WIP pics Wednesday at the latest. I think I underestimated how long it will take as it took me the whole of Friday just to do 1 belt :lol
