ok guys i have a great message for all! After months of research, the last night i found all the information about jason spear gun. Now i know exactly what brand, model and year is this spear gun, i have the correct measurements and many reference images as well as some blue prints plus i learned a lot of spearfishing, lol and i can say: The neca speargun is not correct!!

Now i can guarantee people that bought this figure, a spear gun 100% accurate to the movie.
I regret not giving further details or show pictures but i do not want to help the competition or cloners lol

The speargun's one of the weapons in 1:6 that I found myself daydreaming about when I first came upon this thread. Really looking forward to this custom. Thanks for the all the research and update, Beto.

They have this on bly-ray for $7.99? That's a steal.

On another note, I didn't realize that this movie was the catalyst for other 3D films of it's time, including Jaws. They actually used the same 3D camera equipment. Jason 3 was a Beta test for other 80's 3D flicks.

IDK what some places are charging but I'm talking about FYE. If you have a "back stage pass" (membership) then it's another 10% off too.

FYE is the bomb. It sonetimes changes from week to week but they always have sick stuff in the $9.99 & under Blu Ray bin. I'm talking everything from B cult classics to Goodfellas and Carlio's Way

Over the last few days I just watched this in 3D and regular. First time I watched this in like 8 years. I'm so pumped for this!

Now it's time for pt.4 Jason!

BTW guys whoever doesn't have this on Blu Ray has to get it. The bad color and primitive 3D will bring you right back to the '80s. Old school!

It's good indeed. I know it's not like today's quality 3-D but once you get your eyes somewhat use to it, the 3-D is pretty damn good for what it is.

Holy ****! I didn't think we'd be able to actually fit the ax into Jason's head to recreate that scene (also, thanks everyone for voting for a sharp machete). Brilliant! And goddamn, the headsculpt and mask are fantastic. Jason's looking like the brutal killing machine he should be, Beto (that last pic... :thud. Beautiful work. So glad I squeaked in on this one.
