I love it when a customizer can produce EXACTLY what his clients are asking wihtout having to get feedback from them....its why Beto is up there as far as hitting the mark that everyone expects and therefore are never disappointed in his products....i truly wish other customzers here would follow that...but hey...everyone can't have the same work ethic....right?....thanks again Beto

as far as full figure...the argument would be in your favor....but i was just talking about heads, clothing and anything else...whether its part of a full figure or just a seperate item....i mean...I consider Trevor pretty high up there as well...but yes....like i said...you have a strong argument as being an overall customizer and likely being the top gun...anyone else mentioned...well...they would have to make a strong argument....you can put this jason or Beetlejuice and other Beto full figures against others and the overall quality is very apparent...the only thing that would hurt Beto is the timing....if he could produce the same quality at the speed of RM...he would be an unstoppable force...LOL

There is no question that the time he spends on his work is pure sacrifice to making the Best, and this is TWO people only working on these projects. Look at his catalog of characters so far, EPIC. I actually feel that the time spent adds value to his figures and really increases it's Merits as true Art. If you look at the speargun for example, no one not even Neca were able to accurately pinpoint what design or actual spearfishing tool that was. It took Beto more than 6 months worth of research for that speargun alone just to get the accurate make and model. It may not be significant to some, but when your researching items from a slasher film done in the 80's with no solid reference material, and still manage to discover the EXACT design, make, model! Then create it in 1/6 form even using materials like metal and rubber for detail and accuracy as well as brand it SCUBAPRO!.....I'd say thats well worth an article or op-ed piece written about his contribution to 1/6 if this hobby were to ever be considered a serious form of art/toy art. Quite frankly when you look at his work it's Academic.

For me it is about patience to be able to get the best available. I have been a long time admirer of Betos work and I held off with such characters I wanted in my collection until the best was available. And here it is. This is by far the best representation of Jason ever, truly grateful to be getting this. Also my first Beto and Lu piece.
I would rather it simmered for a long time as to get it right. And Beto gets it right every time. If time is what it takes then so be it. Also I appreciate that Beto shares the passion for the characters just like his customers and it is reflected in his work, meticulous down to the last detail.

It does make you wonder why some artists are so talented but yet over look small but important details. It seems that having the hands doesn't always mean that you have the eye.
