I spoke Beto the other night as well and he is shipping mine soon. His hesitation came from hearing that some showed up with damaged boxes. I think he is rethinking his shipping strategy a bit which is what caused the slight delay.

Yeah, it would be a bit heartbreaking to get a damaged box, considering how invested everyone is in the franchise and Beto's art. I'd gladly pay more in shipping to get it double-boxed.

Asked Beto about a bigger double-box with a larger buffer layer between the outer box and his art box, but he advises it's already been sent and that he has added additional bubble wrap. Just wanted to post to advise that even though there hasn't been an update w/tracking numbers that Beto may have already sent your Jason (assuming you aren't one of those that hasn't paid for shipping *shakes head*).

I think the damage is done by the post office during transit more so than the customs :S

Agreed, Chubbs. My guess would be the damage occurs when the posties are throwing the box around during transit.

17 of 20 just arrived! Beautiful piece and amazed at the level of detail. Everything's perfect but my favourite things are the masks, as I don't think I've really seen them done justice yet in 1:6. Packaging arrived pristine, thankfully. For some reason I didn't expect the 3D side of the box to work with the glasses but it's actually a very cool effect.

Thanks, Beto! Very impressed with this piece and happy to own what I consider the definitive Pt III Jason.

Is everyone's really tight at the shoulders? Mine is so tight that I feel like I'm going to break the right shoulder when I lift it laterally. The left doesn't require the same force to lift, but it's tighter than the norm

Yeah it is a bit tight at the shoulders. Elbows are tight as well. With a bit of force/pressure they do move into place. It is scary though!
