LOL, hey man I was just messing with you on that answer. Didn't mean to sound like a wise a$$. :lol

But honestly he told me about the figure a while back and I saw the thread. I paid him up front and I received the figure.

The figure is a new version then the original part 1 he did. I own that one too. This one comes with 2 head sculpts (one with a serious closed mouth and another with a smiling face like the first version.) It also has a new and improved sweater.

I am not sure why he stopped making them or what the deal is. It certainly isn't because of having special preference.

Besides Nava, cheer up!! If I am not mistaken, you just recently won a certain contest for a free figure.... :wink1:

I'll do a vid on Freddy soon as well to show everyone.

Cool, was going to say don't worry about Beto being slow to respond to boardmail. From my experience he doesn't play favourites but takes a while to get back. I had to message him a few times in regards to Jason Pt III, but once we talked he went out of his way to open up a spot. Just maintain contact and reiterate your interest in the figure and I'm sure you'll get one. :duff

Great review JB, thanks for sharing. Also, yes Beto is correct about the Stan Winston Makeup. That is what is being used throughout the movie except for the flashback scene, the barn reveal and dream sequence. Richard Brooker confirmed this as well (there is even a video of him on YouTube talking about it).

Also. If you have a good eye, the full Winston makeup was seen in the movie. Right at the begining where he is standing by the clothes line about to steal his new outfit, you can tell its the Winston makeup he is wearing.

Awesome review, joebizz. Was looking forward to your take on Jason and you delivered. Obviously I love Jason but can't believe how good Freddy looks. If the film had resonated with me just a bit more, that figure would be a must have. To my eye, everything on it looks better and more detailed than the already excellent first attempt. Congrats on getting both.

Beto sold only 6 Fready's Part1 "new Sweater ver"

.. The deals were done privately a way before creating the interest thread for it .. "Because of the low quantity" the good news is he's still making Fready part1 for the interest list no one will miss it .

Thank you Invictus...Yeah Beto really delivered on both figures. One thing about his work is that regardless of the price or the amount of time needed to wait, he always delivers on the quality of the piece.
