I used to post my customs fairly regularly here, but its been a few years since I posted anything. Going to try to catch up now with what I've finished up since then. Return of the Jedi's been getting a lot of love (at least in figure form).

The Hot Toys figure is nice, but I wanted to save some money. This is the Sideshow jumpsuit and the DeAgostini helmet. The idea was to make the guys who were in the super laser tunnel.

AT-ST Driver
Another use of the DeAgostini/Altaya helmets - this one's slightly oversized, but close enough. Jumpsuit is Sideshow's AT-AT Driver. You can easily take the helmet off, pop on a cap and he's an Imperial Tech.

Admiral Ackbar
Body swap and repaint on the Hasbro figure with the standard eye replacement. Completely rebuilt the tunic. The tiny belt still bugs me, but will have to do for the moment.

3PO units (repost)
Bringing forward my last old posting I could find from around 2010 into this new thread. (I posted a lot less SW than I remembered!) These are articulated 3POs using the Screamin/Kaiyodo model kit. They've got an old thread here if anyone wants details and lots more pics.

Still haven't picked up a modern Hot Toys or Sideshow version. Maybe some day...

Only new stuff from now on, I swear!

I really like the paint job you did on Ackbar and specially the new vest ! I always wanted to make a new one for mine. Great stuff !

Thanks, Lord Sixth! The pattern on the Hasbro vest was pretty good, it just needed to be scaled down with different material.

I've been trying to finish up some figures that have been on my work-table for way too long. First up:

Skiff Lando
Armor pieces are from the Hasbro figure. Helmet is the Tomy one. Most everything else is scratch built. I used a cast of the Sideshow Lando head and had to trim it down quite a bit to fit the helmet over it.

Thanks, gengrevious! I had to spend a lot of time examining pics of those boots/sandals to figure out how they're put together, but they turned out to be pretty simple. It's in two pieces - the "shoe" and the part on the lower leg. You can actually make the shoe part without too much difficulty just by cutting up a standard pair of leather jack boots, there's just a few pieces you cut away, then glue one simple strip to the top and tuck it in under the figure's foot. I'll try to make a picture that shows what to remove from the boot. The only more difficult part might be finding extra buckles to attach on the shoe, but you could elect to go without that part. The top "leg" part is a simple pattern, but likely requires some sewing to finish. And, again, more buckles.

which I can not do is the sewing part. so it would be a basic bust to even try lol.
